Biqli checks destinations before allowing a managed link or dynamic QR code to redirect visitors. A clear result means the latest check did not find a blocking result. It is not a permanent guarantee that a site will remain safe.

Understand the status

Checking can take longer when a destination redirects through one or more hops, uses a known shortener, responds slowly, or cannot be reached. Biqli must evaluate the discovered hops and final destination. If every required check cannot finish, Biqli keeps the result pending or reports that it cannot verify the destination; it does not treat uncertainty as a safe result.

What is checked

Checks can include URL structure and network restrictions, Biqli policy rules, current reputation signals, and redirect behavior. Biqli also checks alternate targeting and expiration destinations because a visitor can reach them instead of the default URL. Biqli does not publish the private rule sources, thresholds, cache details, or evidence used to prevent evasion. The dashboard and decision email provide the actionable reason you need without exposing those controls. Existing destinations can be checked again. A link that previously cleared can be disabled later if the site changes, becomes compromised, introduces a new redirect, or receives a new safety warning.

Fix a disabled destination

  1. Open the Disabled badge and review its message.
  2. Confirm the destination URL is correct and the site has not been compromised.
  3. Remove unexpected redirects, unsafe scripts, or third-party content.
  4. Check the default, targeting, and expiration destinations.
  5. If you believe the result is wrong, select Request review in the badge.
If an internal safety result blocks a destination before a short link can be created, Request review can also appear beneath the destination warning. Some results, including external safety-provider and network-protection decisions, cannot be appealed through this exception process. Do not try to bypass a decision with another shortener or redirect chain.

Request a review

Enter why you believe the result is incorrect and submit the appeal. Biqli rechecks the blocked destination on the server; you cannot replace it in the request. Only one open appeal is kept for the same destination host and safety result. If no short link exists yet, an approval lets you retry link creation instead of creating a link automatically. An administrator reviews the destination and current safety evidence. You will receive an email when the review is complete:
  • Kept disabled: the email explains why an existing link remains disabled, or why a destination still cannot be used to create a link.
  • Exception approved: Biqli grants a time-limited exception only for the reviewed host and internal policy result. An existing link returns to Checking… for a fresh end-to-end scan. If no link exists yet, retry link creation; all remaining safety checks still run. While the exception is active, future links to the same host can bypass that same internal result.
An approved appeal does not immediately declare the destination safe. A temporary exception can bypass only the reviewed internal policy result. It never bypasses Google WebRisk. The link becomes available only after every other required check clears. Other safety warnings, redirect checks, or network protections can still disable it at any time. When the exception expires, the original policy rule applies again unless the underlying issue has been fixed or a new review is approved. An administrator can also revoke an exception before it expires. Expiration or revocation triggers fresh checks for affected links; links that still match the internal result can return to Checking… and become Disabled, even when the destination cannot be reached. Dynamic standalone QR codes use the managed safety lifecycle: a pending code is unavailable, and a blocked destination disables the code. A QR attached to a short link follows the parent link’s status. Static QR content is embedded in the downloaded image. Biqli checks supported URL fields when the static QR is saved, but cannot change or disable copies after download. Ordinary tracked links on a Biolink use the link safety lifecycle. Never include hosting passwords, API keys, or other secrets in an appeal.
