Compare the controls
The public Biolink chat has no conversation-options header menu. Its received-message reporting action is separate from the full inbox controls.
Hide versus delete
A later message can make a hidden conversation visible again. Hiding is therefore not a substitute for blocking. Deleting conversation history applies to your side. The other participant can retain their copy. Messages arriving after the deletion point are not meant to be removed by that earlier deletion action. When neither participant retains a message range, normal content and recording cleanup can remove those unretained copies. Cleanup is not a promise that every related identifier, legally retained record or independently captured report disappears immediately.Block and unblock
- Open the conversation options.
- Choose Block user and follow any confirmation.
- Check the composer reflects that sending is unavailable.
- Use Unblock user when you want to remove your block.
