UTM parameters describe how a visitor reached your destination. Open the UTM section while creating or editing a link. Biqli supports utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, and utm_content. For example, a newsletter campaign might use newsletter as the source, email as the medium, and spring_launch as the campaign. Use custom query parameters for destination-specific values that are not UTMs. Enter each key and value once. Biqli adds them to the destination when the link redirects.
Do not place passwords, API keys, access tokens, or personal information in query parameters. URLs can appear in analytics, browser history, and logs.
Test the final redirect when the destination already contains query parameters to confirm that the receiving site reads every value correctly.

Standard UTM fields

Use a consistent naming convention. Differences in spaces, capitalization, and spelling can split one campaign into several rows in the receiving analytics tool.

Existing destination parameters

Biqli combines configured parameters with the destination URL. Avoid defining the same key twice because the receiving application may choose the first or last value unpredictably. After saving, follow the short link and inspect the final browser URL. Changing UTM values affects future redirects only. It does not rewrite visits already recorded by Biqli or the destination analytics service.
