Search engines can discover any public URL they can crawl. Biqli keeps short-link SEO conservative by sending a noindex response header unless you turn on search engine indexing for a specific link. This is especially useful when you use a custom domain or subdomain, such as go.example.com. It helps keep campaign redirects, private offers, and tracking links out of search results.
The noindex header applies to short links by default. Your regular marketing, legal, and product pages can still appear in your sitemap.
Use search engine indexing only when the short URL itself should be discoverable in Google and other search engines.
  1. Open your Biqli dashboard.
  2. Create or edit a short link.
  3. Find Custom Link Preview.
  4. Turn on Search Engine Indexing.
  5. Click Create or Update.

When indexing is enabled, Biqli serves the short link without the noindex header:

Sitemap behavior

Biqli can include opted-in short links in generated sitemap files. Disabled links, password-protected links, future-scheduled links, and expired links are excluded.
Leave indexing off for most campaign redirects. Turn it on for evergreen, branded, or public links that deserve their own search result.
