Open the domain in Biqli and copy each DNS record exactly as shown. Enter the record type, host or name, and target or value at the provider that manages your authoritative DNS. Some providers automatically append your domain to the host field. For example, they may expect go instead of go.example.com. Their interface should preview the complete record before you save it. DNS changes are not immediate everywhere. Leave the records in place while Biqli verifies them and provisions HTTPS. Do not add an extra record that points the same hostname somewhere else.

Add a record safely

  1. Open the domain detail in Biqli and keep it available for comparison.
  2. Sign in to the provider named by the domain’s authoritative nameservers.
  3. Create the exact record type shown by Biqli.
  4. Enter the host or name using the provider’s format.
  5. Paste the complete value or target and save.
  6. Wait for public DNS propagation, then check the Biqli status.
Do not copy records from another custom domain. Certificate validation and routing depend on the exact hostname and values generated for this connection.

Avoid common conflicts

A hostname should not have incompatible CNAME, A, AAAA, redirect, or proxy records pointing elsewhere. Provider URL forwarding is not a substitute for the requested DNS record. If a provider offers proxying, keep it disabled during initial verification unless Biqli explicitly says otherwise. Removing the validation or routing record later can break HTTPS or redirects.
