You can style the QR matrix, eye frame, and eye. Each supported part can use a solid color or a gradient with start color, end color, midpoint, and one of eight directions. Apply to all creates a hierarchy. When enabled on the matrix, its color treatment also applies to the eye frame and eye, so their color controls are disabled. When enabled on the eye frame, the same treatment applies to the eye and its color control is disabled. Style shapes independently unless an apply-to-all option is enabled. Keep strong contrast, preserve a quiet margin, and test the final design with several cameras.

Configure a solid color

Select the matrix, eye frame, or eye and choose Solid. Enter or pick a color with strong contrast against the background. Very light modules can fail under glare or low-quality printing.

Configure a gradient

Choose Gradient, set start and end colors, select one of the eight supported directions, and adjust the midpoint where offered. Test the lightest area of the gradient because every required module must remain distinguishable.

Understand apply to all

  • Matrix apply to all controls matrix, eye frame, and eye colors.
  • Eye-frame apply to all controls eye frame and eye colors.
  • Disabled dependent controls show that their value is inherited.
  • Shape controls remain independent unless the editor explicitly links them.
