Biqli supports these standalone QR content types:
  • Static: Text, SMS or message, WiFi, vCard, and Event.
  • Dynamic: Link, Email, Phone, SMS, vCard, Application, and WhatsApp.
The builder changes its fields to match the selected type. Enter complete information and check the generated preview. Static vCards are fixed in the QR image. Dynamic vCards can be updated later, but the current API does not accept a vCard avatar upload.

Static content

  • Text opens or displays the exact saved text.
  • SMS or message prepares a message using the entered recipient and body.
  • WiFi stores the network name, authentication details, and password entered in the builder.
  • vCard stores contact fields directly in the QR image.
  • Event stores the supported event details directly in the QR image.

Dynamic content

  • Link opens a managed external URL.
  • Email prepares an email with supported recipient, subject, and body fields.
  • Phone starts a call using the saved number.
  • SMS prepares a text message.
  • vCard opens managed contact details that can be updated.
  • Application directs visitors using the supported app destination fields.
  • WhatsApp opens the configured WhatsApp conversation or message.
Test the behavior on the device types your audience uses. Scanner applications can present phone, email, WiFi, and contact actions differently.

Can I change a QR from one content type to another?

Use only conversions offered by the editor. Otherwise create and test a new code because payload fields differ by type.

Can the API upload a dynamic vCard avatar?

No. The current public QR API rejects custom vCard avatar uploads.

Does a phone QR place a call automatically?

The scanner normally presents the phone action and the visitor confirms it.
