Dynamic QR codes record scans because they resolve through Biqli. Open a dynamic QR, select analytics, and choose a date range to review scan totals and available audience dimensions. Static QR codes contain their payload directly and do not contact Biqli when scanned, so no scan report is available for them. A scan can be affected by camera previews, privacy controls, or repeated requests. Treat audience details as aggregate signals rather than personal identification.

Open a scan report

Find the dynamic QR, open analytics, and choose the reporting period. Review scan totals over time and the available country, city, device, platform, browser, and referrer dimensions where present.

Interpret the total

A camera or scanner can preview, prefetch, retry, or open the managed URL more than once. Biqli applies its reporting behavior, which can differ from the destination website’s page-load count. A scan does not guarantee that the visitor completed an action at the destination. Static codes have no managed redirect request and cannot be backfilled with scan analytics. If measurement is required, create a dynamic code before printing. Use the same date range and timezone when comparing scans with link clicks or external analytics.

Frequently asked questions

Is every camera preview a person?

Not necessarily. Scanner software can prefetch, retry, or open the managed URL in ways that affect request counts.

Can I enable history for a static code later?

No. Create and publish a dynamic replacement before measurement is needed.

Why is a location unknown?

The request did not provide enough reliable network information, or privacy systems removed it.
