Removing an attached QR code deletes its editable QR record from Biqli but does not delete the short link. Deleting the short link also removes its attached QR record. An image that was already downloaded cannot be recalled. If it encoded the short URL and that URL no longer resolves, printed copies will stop reaching the destination. Confirm where the QR has been published before removing either resource.

Remove only the QR

Open the link’s QR action, choose remove or delete, and confirm the warning. The short link remains available and can still be shared normally. A new attached QR can be created later, but it should not be assumed to match an old downloaded image. Deleting the parent link also removes the attached QR record and stops the short URL from reaching its destination. Printed images remain physically present but their encoded URL no longer resolves as before.

Before confirming

Inventory printed signs, packaging, documents, campaigns, and saved image files. Replace distributed material when the URL must continue working. If the goal is temporary unavailability, pause the link instead of deleting either resource.

Frequently asked questions

No. Removing only the attachment leaves the short link available.

Can downloaded copies be deleted remotely?

No. Remove or replace them wherever they were distributed.

What if I only need a new style?

Edit the supported style and download a new image instead of deleting the resource.
