A link QR code is attached to a specific Biqli short link. Scanning it opens that short URL, so destination updates can be made through the link without replacing the printed QR image. Create it from the link’s QR action. The link response and dashboard can then show that an attached QR exists. Use a standalone QR code instead when the QR should have its own content and lifecycle outside a short-link record.

Create an attached QR code

  1. Find the short link in the Links dashboard.
  2. Open its action menu and select the QR code action.
  3. Create or open the attached QR record.
  4. Customize and scan the preview.
  5. Download the final image for the intended placement.
The QR encodes the managed short URL. Editing the link destination preserves the QR pattern and sends future scans to the new destination. Changing the link’s domain or alias changes the public short URL and should be tested against the existing QR before publication. Link clicks and QR scans describe different points in the journey where reported. Use the attached relationship when the QR should follow the link’s ownership and deletion lifecycle.

Does editing the destination require a new print?

Not when the attached QR still resolves through the same short URL. Test it after the edit. Manage those as standalone QR resources. The attached QR represents its parent short link.
