Open your Biolink’s Content section and use Manage social icons beside the suggested social icons. These linked icons are separate from content blocks and from connecting a provider account.

Add an icon

  1. Open Social icons and select Add social icons.
  2. Search for the service or contact type.
  3. Enter the requested handle, address or URL, following the prefix and placeholder shown.
  4. Save the entry and return to the icon list.
  5. Enable the icon and choose Top or Bottom under Social icon position.
  6. Save the icons dialog and publish the page.
  7. Open each published icon and confirm the intended destination.
Success means the icon opens the correct public profile or contact action. A populated handle is not proof that you own the external account.

Enter the correct value

Different services expect different values. Some fields show a fixed service prefix and need your handle; other entries need a URL, email address or phone value. Do not paste another provider’s URL into a handle field. Inspect the destination after saving. If an icon opens the wrong page, edit its value instead of changing the label of an unrelated block. Blank values remove that service’s configured entry when applied.

Hide or change an icon

Use the icon’s edit control to change its destination. Turn its switch off to retain the configured value while hiding the icon. Save and publish to apply the change publicly. Top and Bottom determine where the group appears relative to the profile/page content. Review both desktop and mobile placement so visitors can find the icons without confusing them with the main action buttons.

Know the boundaries

Adding a YouTube or TikTok icon links to a destination. It does not authorize channel access, synchronize posts or create a connected content block. Use YouTube or TikTok for those displays. An email or messaging icon can hand off to a configured application. It does not itself send a message. Use Contact actions for richer contact blocks or Direct Message for private Biqli conversations.
