Biqli attributes an eligible new account to the partner referral that qualified for that registration. The standard program currently uses first-click attribution with a 90-day window. The current rules shown in the partner dashboard take priority if the program is updated.

Referral stages

  1. Click: A real visitor opens your personal referral link.
  2. Lead: The visitor registers before the referral attribution expires.
  3. Customer: The referred account completes its first eligible paid invoice.
  4. Commission: Biqli calculates your commission on an eligible paid amount.
Self-referrals do not qualify. Accounts that paid for Biqli before registration through your link do not qualify as new referrals. A referred account is not reattributed when another partner link is visited after it has already been assigned.

First-click attribution

First-click means the first qualifying partner referral recorded for the visitor controls the attribution. A later visit through another partner link does not overwrite a referral already assigned to the account. The attribution window begins when Biqli records the qualifying click. The visitor must register before the window expires. Clearing browser data, switching devices, blocking storage, or registering through an unrelated flow can prevent the click from being connected to the account.

What Biqli filters

Biqli filters traffic that should not become ordinary referral activity, including detected bots, link previews, prefetch requests, and duplicate requests. This is why external click totals can be higher than the qualified click count in the partner dashboard.

Independent referrals

Biqli evaluates whether a referral is independent from the partner. Identity, account, payment, network, and other risk signals can place it under review. Only independent eligible referrals count toward the Established tier.

Reviews and adjustments

Biqli checks referrals for related-account and risk signals. A referral can be marked for review, approved as independent, or disqualified. Refunds, credits, chargebacks, and other billing adjustments can reduce or void the related commission before or after it becomes available.
A click or registration does not guarantee a commission. The referred account must make an eligible payment while the commission earning period is active.

Example

Suppose a person first visits your referral link, registers 20 days later, and pays for an eligible subscription. The registration is inside the standard 90-day window, so the account can be attributed to you. The first eligible invoice creates a customer and commission. The commission then follows the hold period for the tier active when it was created. If that person had already paid for Biqli before the referred registration, or if the referral was related to your own account, it would not qualify as an independent new customer.
