The Settings tab controls the Biolink itself. You can update its name, domain, alias, description, active state, search engine indexing preference, and password protection where your plan permits. Changing the domain or alias changes the public URL. Update places where the old URL was shared. Disabling the page stops public access without deleting its content. Passwords are write-only. Biqli can show that a password exists, but it does not reveal the saved value.

Review page settings

  • Name identifies the page in the workspace.
  • Domain and alias form the public URL.
  • Description provides page-level context where shown or used as metadata.
  • Active controls whether the page is publicly available.
  • Allow search engine indexing expresses whether supported crawlers may index the page.
  • Password adds a page-level access gate when the plan permits it.

Change the public URL

Changing the domain or alias changes the address visitors use. Update social profiles, websites, campaigns, and printed materials that contain the old URL. Test an active custom domain before saving the change.

Pause or protect a page

Disable the Biolink when you want to stop access without deleting its editor content. Add a password for a limited audience and share the password through a separate channel. Password protection does not encrypt content at the final destinations. The indexing option is a crawler instruction, not access control. Use a password or disable the page when visitors must not open it.
