From the Biolinks dashboard, open the page’s actions and choose Settings. Page settings are separate from the editor’s Content, Header and Design sections.

Update page settings

  1. Select the correct page and open Settings.
  2. Review its name, alias and available domain controls.
  3. Review availability and the supported access, scheduling, indexing or expiration controls shown for the page.
  4. Save the form with Update or its confirmation action.
  5. Open the public URL in a signed-out browser and confirm the result.
Success means the saved settings remain selected and the page behaves accordingly. Publishing content does not replace saving this separate settings form.

Address and identity

The dashboard name identifies the page for operators. Change the public title and bio in Header. Changing the domain or alias changes the URL visitors use. Confirm that the new alias is available and the domain is active, then update external references. Do not assume every old URL or printed QR code follows the new address automatically. Availability and protection

Disable the page when you want to stop public access without deleting its editor content. A password, where available, is an access gate for the page. Passwords are write-only: the settings can indicate one exists without displaying its saved value. Search engine indexing preferences are instructions for cooperating crawlers. They do not authenticate visitors, revoke copies already shared elsewhere or make published personal details private. Page schedules and expiration, when offered, affect access independently of each destination’s own availability. Verify both the page and any managed destination before a timed launch. Read deletion confirmations carefully. Deleting a page, hiding a block, deleting collected responses and deleting a personal conversation are different operations. A message already delivered to a participant is not erased merely because its originating Biolink changes.
