# Invite workspace members

> Invite people to collaborate in a Biqli workspace.

Open workspace members, select **Invite member**, enter the person's email address, and choose the initial role. The invitation grants access only after it is accepted.

Assign the least access needed for the person's work. You can adjust the role later if your own permissions allow it.

Invitations apply to the current workspace, not every workspace on your account.

## Send an invitation

1. Switch to the intended workspace.
2. Open **Members** and select **Invite member**.
3. Enter the recipient's correct email address.
4. Choose a built-in or custom role.
5. Review the access represented by that role.
6. Send the invitation.

The person remains pending until the invitation is accepted with the intended
Biqli account. If the address is wrong, cancel the invitation instead of waiting
for it to expire.

## Before granting broad access

Admin access can include sensitive workspace actions. Use Editor, Member, or a
custom role when the recipient only needs particular resources. Review custom
roles before reuse because a later role change affects every assigned member.

If the recipient cannot find the email, verify the address and spam folder,
then resend the existing invitation.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I change the role before acceptance?

Use the invitation actions offered by Biqli. If the proposed access cannot be
edited, cancel it and send a corrected invitation.

### Does an invitation consume active member access?

The current workspace plan and invitation interface are authoritative for
member limits. Review capacity before inviting a large team.
