# Manage notification preferences

> Choose which Biqli account and workspace notifications you receive.

Notification settings control the optional account and workspace messages listed in your preferences. Enable the channels and event types that are useful to you, then save the changes.

Critical security, billing, or service messages can still be sent when needed, even if optional product notifications are disabled.

If expected email is missing, check the account address and spam folder before changing the preference again.

## Update preferences

1. Open account settings and select notifications.
2. Review each available event and channel.
3. Enable messages that require your attention and disable optional ones you do
   not need.
4. Save and confirm the preference remains selected.

Workspace access and notification preferences are separate. Disabling an email
does not remove a membership or stop events from happening.

## Troubleshoot delivery

Confirm the account email is current and verified, search spam or quarantine,
and allow messages from the Biqli sending domain according to your organization
policy. Some partner application and payout messages have their own event rules
and cooldowns.

Security, legal, billing, and service notices can be delivered independently of
optional marketing or activity preferences.

### Does disabling a notification undo an event?

No. It changes optional delivery preferences, not the underlying workspace or
partner action.

### Why did I still receive an email?

The message can be a required security, billing, legal, or service notice rather
than an optional notification.
