# Display YouTube videos and channel content

> Connect a channel when needed, select content and understand authorization and disconnection.

Choose **YouTube** or **YouTube Page** from Content. A specific video uses its URL; channel-based displays offer the supported channel selection flow.

## Publish a specific video

1. Paste its URL and wait for resolution.
2. Confirm the intended video, title and thumbnail.
3. Select the display and in-page or external interaction.
4. Review autoplay and **Ask visitors to subscribe** where offered.
5. Publish and test while signed out of YouTube.

Google sign-in to Biqli is separate from connecting YouTube for channel selection. A public URL alone does not authorize private channel access.

## Select connected channel content

1. Open the YouTube connection flow when required.
2. Authorize the account controlling the intended channel and grant the requested read-only permissions.
3. Confirm the channel and choose **Single video** or **Multiple videos** where offered.
4. Choose the supported source: a fixed item, latest item, uploads/videos/Shorts, playlist or selected videos.
5. Choose the available order and layout, inspect the preview and publish.

Source-dependent ordering includes recent, most viewed, trending, playlist order and selected order. Availability depends on source and authorized data. Latest-content modes can change displayed content as the source changes. Selected content represents the items you choose.

## Authorization boundaries

The connection reads channel/video information needed for display, selection and supported analytics-based ordering. This read-only feature does not upload, edit or delete YouTube content and does not give visitors access to your Google account.

Denied permissions, the wrong channel or revoked authorization can prevent selection or refresh. Reconnect the correct account rather than using another person's credentials.

## Disconnect or change sources

Disconnection clears active credentials and stops authenticated synchronization. Affected blocks can fall back to safe public-source content where available. Do not assume every dynamic selection continues or all saved public metadata disappears.

Inspect affected blocks after disconnecting, choose usable sources and publish intended changes. Changing a block URL and revoking its account connection are separate operations.
