# Analytics overview

> Understand the performance data available across Biqli.

Biqli records activity across short links, folders, Biolinks, and QR codes. The workspace dashboard gives you a combined view, while each resource has its own report for closer analysis.

Core metrics include clicks, leads, sales, revenue, links created, and QR scans where they apply. A click measures a visit to a short link. Leads and sales require conversion tracking, so they can remain at zero even when a link has traffic.

Use the date selector to study a specific period. Then open the audience and customer reports to understand where visitors came from, what they used, and which conversions followed.

## Choose the correct reporting level

Use workspace analytics for an overall performance trend. Use a link report for
one short URL, a folder report for an organized group of links, a Biolink report
for page engagement, and a dynamic QR report for scans. Static QR codes do not
contact Biqli when scanned and therefore have no scan report.

## Read metrics together

Clicks describe traffic. Leads and sales describe conversion events attributed
to that traffic. Revenue is the amount supplied with eligible sales. These
metrics answer different questions and should not be expected to match.

Select a date range before drawing a conclusion. A click, registration, and
sale can occur on different days, so a short range can show one stage without
the next. Audience reports are inferred from request information and can include
unknown values.

For a reproducible report, record the workspace, resource, date range, filters,
and comparison period.
