# Retrieve the connected workspace

> Validate an OAuth access token and read its user and workspace identity.

This endpoint requires `workspace.read`. Use it immediately after token
exchange and whenever an integration needs to verify its stored connection.

| Field | Description |
| :- | :- |
| `id` | Public OAuth connection ID |
| `user_id` | User who approved the connection |
| `user_name` | Display label for the approving user |
| `workspace_id` | Public ID of the connected workspace |
| `workspace_name` | Display label for the connected workspace |
| `workspace` | Convenience object containing the public workspace identity |

The endpoint returns `401` when the token is expired, invalid, revoked, or no
longer belongs to an active connection. It returns `403` when the token lacks
`workspace.read`.
